Graphic Designer And Multimedia Officer

IOJI is currently looking for a communications person to support the outreach of its programs. In attaining such objectives, IOJI is seeking for qualified candidates for the following position:

Title : Graphic Designer & Multimedia Officer
Employment : Contract-based (renewal possibility based on performance review and budget availability)
Duration : 6 (six) months with possibility for extension
Benefit Paid income tax (PPh 21), BPJS Kesehatan, and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan by IOJI
Duty Station : Jakarta, Work from Office (WFO) from Monday-Friday

 

Job Responsibilities

Graphic Designer & Multimedia Officer will be working closely with the Public Relations & Media Manager will be responsible in providing communication support to all IOJI’s workstreams. The responsibilities for this position are as the following:

Project documentation

  • Concept, create and place visual (photos and videos), data visualizations content for IOJI’s studies and media platforms, including but not limited to Website, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn.
  • Concept and create other supporting communication products such as posters, backdrops, video, moving images, booklet, calendar, report, advertisement and power point.
  • Design layout for IOJI’s policy papers, including conceptualize information or data into understandable and interesting visual or graphic.
  • Develop IOJI’s branding guideline for all relevant communication products.
  • Documenting activities carried out by program team and capture other necessary pictures relevant to ocean and ocean-dependent people

  1. Public Relations and Media Manager: direct supervisor, teamwork
  2. Communications officer: teamwork
  3. Program Officer, Program Managers and Senior Advisors: preparation on social media content and articles
  4. Board of Directors: social media content and articles’ signoff
  5. Human Resources & General Affairs: meeting, event, and travel preparation;
  6. Finance officer: project budgeting; meeting, event, and travel preparation

Knowledges, Experiences, and Competencies

  • Hold a bachelor degree in graphic designer subject from a reputable university, but we’d especially like to hear fresh thinking and dynamic ideas on communication products
  • A minimum of 1-2 years hands on experience working as graphic designer in the media and/or NGO sector
  • Have a good knowledge on data visualizations
  • Ability to work effectively under highly challenging situations
  • Efficient, competent and possess integrity
  • Good interpersonal skills, teamwork-oriented, proven record in working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organisational goals and ensure timely delivery results
  • Demonstrates ability to manage complexity, high attention to detail and accuracy
