Stephanie Juwana is a co-founder and director of the Indonesia Ocean Justice Initiative. She led the department for Sustainable and Equitable Ocean Governance. She was a contributor to The High-Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy’s Blue Paper on Illegal Fishing. She was also a co-author of a paper presented at the International Environmental Law Conference titled “Enhancing the Blue Carbon Ecosystem Governance”.

She has participated in various international conferences and meetings on IUU Fishing as an Indonesian delegate and a speaker. Before that, Stephanie was a special advisor to the Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries at the Presidential Task Force to Combat Illegal Fishing. In 2022, she earned a Master of Laws degree (LLM in Environmental Law and Policy) at Stanford Law School.
