Gridanya Mega Laidha, S.H.

Mega Laidha is a Program Manager specializing in the protection and empowerment of small-scale fishers, blue foods, and law in the Anthropocene. With a strong background in regulatory assessments and policy research, Mega has led critical initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability and equity within the marine and fisheries sectors. Mega’s work includes extensive engagement with government entities, local communities, and international partners, driving collaboration to address key issues such as transparency, fishery regulations, and climate resilience.

Mega holds a Master of Law from the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in Environmental Law and Energy & Clean Technology Law. She also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law from Universitas Indonesia, focusing on public international law and environmental law.

Prior to joining IOJI, Mega was involved in the Illegal Fishing Eradication Task Force (Satgas 115).
